The word “contagious” has a lot of negative connotations—contagious disease, contagious anger. But what about the positive side like joy, laughter, courage, love? If we’ve decided to be followers of Jesus, we’re supposed to be contagious about him. Are you? Or are you keeping it to yourself?
Many thanks go to Rev. John Ortberg, Senior Pastor of Menlo Park Presbyterian Church, for his resources used in this message.

After teaching on a variety of subjects that affect huge chunks of our lives, Jesus makes an invitation to move from becoming an admirer of his to a follower. Which are you? How do you know? This message wraps up a series on Matthew 5-7 (commonly called The Sermon on the Mount). Many thanks go to William Barclay for his commentary and Rev. John Ortberg, Senior Pastor of Menlo Park Presbyterian Church, for his resources used in this message.

The practice of praying affects every part of life but we need to get clear on two questions: Where is God? And Who is God? Then we can pray authentically, humbly, boldly and experience God’s presence and power. This message focuses on Jesus’ teachings on prayer in Matthew 5-7 (commonly called The Sermon on the Mount). Many thanks go to Rev. John Ortberg, Senior Pastor of Menlo Park Presbyterian Church, for his resources on prayer used in this message.
